The Asia Tour
March 11th - 17th
Bangkok - Hanoi - Ho Chi Min City - Kuala Lumpur
This year’s Spring 2018 Asia Tour will focus on destinations that have proven to consistently be the most popular with LIndenites and send the most students to the U.S. for higher education. Our carefully planned itinerary includes stops in Thailand, Vietnam and Malaysia.
We start the Spring Tour in the robust undergrad market of Bangkok and then we head to Vietnam for visits in Hanoi and Ho Chi Min City. Vietnam continues to have the fastest growth out of any other country on tour. Our final destination is in Kuala Lumpur, a continually solid market that saw almost 8% growth in undergraduate numbers. Visiting all of these major cities is an absolute must for any institution interested in students from this dynamic region.
Each location has a full schedule with a number of school visits, professional activities, and university fairs as well as counselor events. Linden has decades of experience and in-depth knowledge of these markets. Along with the knowledge our organization provides, the tour leaders have many years of professional experience in Asia and work extensively with our teams on the ground to help plan, promote, and execute each visit so that every event provides the highest return on investment.
Enrollment Data: Open Doors reports that all 3 of the countries we are visiting are in the top 25 for places of origin for sending students to the USA. In the case of Vietnam, a top 10 sending nation, Open Doors states: “In the 2015/16 academic year, 21,403 students from Vietnam were studying in the United States (up 14.3% from the previous year), marking the 14th straight year of growth. Vietnam is the sixth leading place of origin for students coming to the United States.”
